Vandalism fund gets media attention; We need your help!
Former Hunter Huss student asks for alumni to help pay for vandalism damage
Hunter Huss High alum Brad Huss’s heart sank when he read The Gazette online Wednesday.
The top story discussed how vandals had caused $5,000 worth of damage to his alma mater.
Huss decided that he would get the word out about the damage and try to help the school pay for the damages.
Huss owns hunterhusshuskies.com, a Web site dedicated to keep alumni informed and help them stay in touch. He set up an account where people can donate money. When Huss gets a sizable amount, he’ll present the school with a check.
“There’s a lot of heritage, a lot of pride in that school,” Huss said.
In the past the Web site has generated a lot of traffic.
He hopes that this issue will garner the attention of those willing to open up their pocketbook.
“Really the important issue is the money has to be paid,” Huss said.
To make a donation, go to www.hunterhusshuskies.com and click on the “donate” logo. Donations can be made with a credit card through a secure Pay Pal site. Huss will not see any financial information from those making donations.
